Please be informed that our Membership Meeting for the month of December will be held this coming December 15, 2009 at Sacred Heart Center, D. Jakosalem St., Cebu City.
We are inviting Ms. Ofelia Mendoza, the OIC-Cebu Coty Treasurers Office, to share to us her views regarding the topic Updates in Renewals of Business Permits and updates in Local Taxations. Our PICPA CEBU Director Arnold Supilanas will also share his expertise in the topic Year-end Tax Compliance and Alpha-list Preparations.
Our Chapter President Atty. Bethuel Tanupan, will likewise give the general membership updates of current boards accomplishments during the past months and what to expect in the succeeding months. CPE ON THE ROAD (EVR VERSION) - [Part 4 of 4] DECEMBER 9, 10, 11 and 12, 2009
TO : ALL PICPAns and OTHER INTERESTED PARTIES
To provide practitioners the opportunity to earn the units required for the renewal of their PRC/BOA accreditation, PICPA Eastern Visayas Region and PICPA Cebu Chapter will again deliver the CPE on the Road (EVR Version). Part 4 of the series will be held on December 9, 10, 11 and 12 ,2009, at the Sacred Heart Center, D. Jakosalem St. Cebu City .
Participants will earn 30 cpe units for the 4 day activity, which is more than what is required for the last part of 15 units. We decided to add more days because of the clamor of some participants to offer sessions for ETHICS, PFRSs and PSAs which they failed to attend in the previous runs. BOOKKEEPING REQUIREMENTS OF BIR and OCTOBER MEMBERSHIP MEETING
TO : ALL PICPAns, ACCOUNTANTS, BOOKKEEPERS and OTHER INTERESTED PARTIES
The PICPA Cebu Chapter in coordination with the Bureau of Internal Revenue cordially invites you to attend the Seminar on October 27, 2009 (Tuesday), 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Center, Cebu City. Topics for discussion will be simple bookkeeping and bookkeeping requirements of BIR.
Our resource speakers are BIR Regional Director Rodita B. Galanto and Atty. Rhenier P. Mora, the Asst. Council of PICPA Cebu and the Manager of RP Mora Accounting and Law Office.
To cover the cost of materials, snacks, venue and other incidental expenses, a minimal fee is assessed at P 500 for members in good standing and P 600 for other attendees.

Part 4 will be held on November 13 and 14, 2009, at the Sacred Heart Center, D. Jakosalem St., Cebu Ciity . Participants will earn 15 cpe units for each 2 days or for a total of 60 units for the
